- Taste: Viscous mouthfeel – oily front to back. toasted sugar – leads to creme brulee, honey, leather, spiced cherry tobacco, creamy caramel and French vanilla, slight brown sugar funk
- Finish: Pepper and tobacco spices linger with waves of vanilla, caramel, and loads of honey. Dried fruit like cherry and raisin soften the light punch of oak tannins with more vanilla and honey on the finish. Finishes like a whiskey of years past that is not easy to replicate today.
